A Contents Summary

Dragan Gagovic was killed on January 9th, 1999 while driving his car ("Golf") on the road between Ustipraca and Cajnice in the Republic of Srpska. Five children, ages 11 and 12 years old, were also in the car with Gagovic. According to the official statement given by a SFOR representative, The Hague Tribunal had issued a warrant for the arrest of Dragan Gagovic, but he was, instead, killed by SFOR members in a supposed "act of self-defence". However, the statements given by the five children and the other witnesses, (persons whom SFOR soldiers had stopped, enabling them to cross this part of the road), material traces found at the scene and the characteristics of the surrounding are along with the unbiased results of an autopsy which was performed on the deceased, all clearly point in one completely different direction and it appears that the intention of the SFOR soldiers wasn’t to arrest Dragan Gagovic, but rather to kill him. A forensic medicine expertise proved that the witnesses’ accounts were accurate.
