o    What really happened in Srebrenica?

o    Why have they chosen this moment, exactly ten years after the events, to show a video depicting the execution of six Muslims?

o    Will this media euphoria, in which the highest state officials of Serbia took part, lead to a national catharsis, or is it only the fulfillment of the obligations that the Government of Serbia marionettes accepted before the Nato-ordered coup of October 5, 2000?

o    How much is this political exhibitionism of our politicians going to cost, and who will pay for it?

The Srebrenica operation was planned so that Bosnian Serb forces were positioned in a shape of a horseshoe, thus intentionally leaving space for the Muslim army and civilians to retreat North, North-West towards Tuzla. The distance of 36km and the configuration of the terrain are such that any man in average physical condition can cross it on foot. The military operation was conducted in this manner with the intention of minimizing the number of casualties, since the Muslims had brought in substantial military forces. If the Muslim forces had been hermetically enclosed, a violent fight would have ensued in which the army of Republika Srpska (RS) would also have suffered serious casualties. Whence the horse - shoe plan.

All this can be clearly seen on the above American map showing the withdrawal of the Muslim army. It should also be noted that no ambush was set up at Snagovo. Rather, the main contingent of the Muslim army itself planned to infiltrate into the town of Zvornik and thus create a street fighting situation for the army of RS. The clashes at Nova Kasaba in the Konjevic Field occurred due to the Muslim blockade of the main road that goes from Belgrade – to Zvornik - to Vlasenica – to Han Pijesak – to Sarajevo, i.e. to Bosnian Serb capital Pale.

According to army of RS data, between 600 and 700 Muslim fighters were killed in that operation. Those were the ones who attempted to break the horse - shoe ring in some places, in order to join up with dislocated Muslim units elsewhere. Most of Muslim armed forces, as well as a part of the civilians, reached Tuzla through uninterrupted mountain trails.

In the Srebrenica and Zepa enclaves, held by the Muslim armed forces for almost three years, there were between 6.5 and 7 thousand Muslim soldiers who were under the protection of UN forces and who persistently attacked the neighboring Serbian villages from these two UN safe zones. Such a strategy of permanent aggression, eventually led to the destruction of 128 villages in the vicinity of Srebrenica, in which at least 2400 Serbian civilians were killed. The Muslim strategy of maintaining strong forces in Srebrenica and Zepa had several goals. First, it was intended to tie up a significant part of the Serbian military forces in defense against these continuous Muslim attacks. This way, those Serb forces could not be transferred to the Sarajevo front to reinforce the siege of Sarajevo. Next, as suggested by Croatian and Western strategists, it was necessary to physically separate the Republic of Srpska from its border with Serbia in order to ease its destruction later on. For this reason, the West located their protected enclaves along the Drina River, the border between Serbia and the Bosnian Serb Republic, in places such as Srebrenica, Zepa, and Gorazde. Moreover, the strong Western propaganda about ‘thousands of killed’ was aimed at shifting the attention of the world community away from the real atrocities, committed by Muslim forces in Bratunac, Kravica, Skelani and other burned down Serbian villages around Srebrenica, in which only Serbian civilians were murdered.

Here, in East Bosnia, the fight with Muslim forces lasted a full three years. In that limited geographical area, the Muslims frequently buried the soldiers who died in those battles, together with their civilian casualties, in the same mass graves. These bodies are now being exhumed as alleged genocide victims. Several months after the fall of Srebrenica, our team of pathologists, led by General Stankovic, in cooperation with Western pathologists, found in all mass graves a total of 1,284 bodies that were to be identified by DNK and other methods. These investigations lasted until the middle of 1997, when the investigations were halted by orders from the West, which considered the number of bodies found by that time to be a fair approximation of the total number of dead. Moreover, after five years of intensive search by KFOR and Hague investigators in the territory of Srebrenica, no more than 1,700 bodies were found in all mass graves combined.

After the bombing of Serbia in 1999, Srebrenica accusation was resurrected and new mass graves suddenly started appearing, but now Western experts, under the protection of the Hague Tribunal, were the exclusive investigators. To this day those investigations seem not to be finished. Somehow, new graves keep appearing, and at present they claim to have found 3,000 alleged victims. It would not be surprising if the number reaches 12 to 15 thousands. Hopefully they will be careful enough not to boost the number beyond the total civilian population of that region.

I was the consultant of Radovan Karadzic during the execution of the Srebrenica operation and I was with him during that operation. Immediately after the end of the military operation I was sent to Srebrenica in order to organize busses and trucks to transport Muslim civilians to the Tuzla region. There was no indication of any massacre going on, and none of the UN soldiers who were present during the entire operation pointed to something like that. At that time they did not make any declaration or comment that would indicate that a massacre had occured. Only later, under instructions from their headquarters, did they start claiming that there were killings of civilians and mass executions, all as part of the media propaganda campaign dictated from lobbying groups and other centers of world power.

During the first elections in Bosnia, after the Dayton Agreement, due to Muslim carelessness and their wish to make as strong a showing as possible, several thousand of those supposedly "massacred" in Srebrenica and Zepa appeared at voting stations throughout Bosnia! Later, they were all urgently issued new documents with different names, in other to further freely exploit the ongoing farce about Srebrenica.

A particular role in that region was played by the French Foreign Legion. This was because French General Morillon was the commander of UN forces for the protected zones for a long period of time. Contrary to the agreement on the creation of safe zones, he tolerated thousands of armed Muslims and even armed them, bringing weapons in under cover of humanitarian convoys. Our state possesses video recordings that prove beyond dispute, with cameras in place, that arms and ammunitions were delivered to Srebrenica Muslims in trucks labelled "humanitarian aid." Furthermore,  we also have rich video documentation of the massacre of Serbs in the villages around Srebrenica, but it is not convenient for this marionette Government [in Serbia] to show them to the public. If that material was to be shown, both our and the world community would get quite different insights into the events in Srebrenica and why it was necessary for Republica Srpska to neutralize that "Safe zone."

Quite suspiciously, the story of the Zepa safe zone has been completey deleted from Srebrenica media fabrications. That is because round 1,500 Muslim soldiers were captured there with a substantial arsenal of arms. All of them were safely transported across the Drina River to Serbia, and later to Bosnia, without anyone losing a single hair on their head. Before they were returned to Bosnia, numerous "humanitarian expeditions," including that of Ms Ogata, visited those imprisoned soldiers to verify that the prisoners were being treated fairly. The Zepa UN safe zone is nowhere mentioned, because it is a strong evidence of just how our army behaved during that clash. It should be noted that the operations at Srebrenica and Zepa were carried out simultaneously under the same Serbian commanders who are accused of conducting a massacre in Srebrenica. Perhaps the Muslims from Zepa were more to the liking of those commanders and for that reason they transferred them safely to Serbia without killing a single person.

Why is a video recording, supposedly made 10 years ago, being shown at this particular time?

The video recording of the execution of six Muslims, which is repeatedly being shown by all media, and which was first shown in Serbia by George Soros’ B92 (but who else?) is only a part of the media organized campaign timed to take place just before the beginning of important negotiations on the status of the Serbian Province of Kosovo.

This has nothing to do with ‘facing the truth’, so-called, because the supposed crime presented in the video has nothing to do with Srebrenica. The alleged crime was, we are told, committed in the vicinity of Trnovo near Sarajevo, i.e. 170 km from Srebrenica. Linking that crime with Srebrenica is intended to revamp the myth of the suffering of Srebrenica Muslims just in time for the tenth anniversary of the event, at which our President Tadic plans to appear with an apology. It is a continuation of the propaganda war, aimed at portraying the Serbs to the world as a genocidal nation. Against such a nation, all is justified including the bombing of 1999. Such a nation does not deserve to retain Kosovo as part of its state. This way the hands of our poor "statesman" will be tied, since he is supposedly a representative of the genocidal people during international negotiations. This way also, Repulika Srpska, the Bosnian Serb Republic, is a genocidal creation that should be destroyed as such. A guardianship should be imposed on the Serbs. That is why everything possible is being done to force the Serbs "to face" the supposed "truth", so that the West remains pure and moral. For this purpose all available means are employed, involving a spectrum so diverse as to include "non-governmental" organizations and foundations, but also certain venal Serbian intellectuals as well as the world propaganda machinery i.e., the mass media.

For this purpose of imposing the "truth", Paddy Ashdown has nimbly included himself. He angrily tore up the report of the independent commission of RS about the alleged crimes in Srebrenica and under the threat of the replacing the president Cavic and all other leaders of Republika Srpska, he demanded that the figure of 8,000 Muslim victims be accepted. That is the only report he expects from them. Also, in order to dismantle Republika Srpska and hand it over to a united Bosnia, this English democrat, quite "democratically" kicked out 73 legally elected RS officials from their posts, just because they dared think with their own heads and they dared defend the clauses signed in the Dayton agreement.

Many are working to construct such an image of the Serbs, ranging from the (well known to us) International Crisis Group (ICG) to the office of David Barnow, which is often mentioned as the source of "information" about the supposed massacre of 6,000 and later 8,000 Muslim civilians in Srebrenica. That office is a well paid Muslim lobbying center in the United States, which created and still conducts the campaign about Srebrenica, as well as the earlier fabrications about thousands of raped Muslim women, concentration camps for Muslims, etc.

Irresponsibility of politicians and the current Government

Our tragedy is not Srebrenica, nor even other Serb gallows. Our problem is the existing marionette government that does not try to fight for the truth, nor to defend national dignity and Serbian interests. Our tragedy is the fact that our state politics is in the hands of Natasa Kandic and the gang of other such foreign employees. Our tragedy is that our President plans to apologize as ordered by the Western powers in disregard to the consequences for the state and the nation.

Milosevic hid the truth in order not to irritate the West. He was trying to "buy" time for himself - a few more years in his presidential position. Despite that he is now in The Hague. The question remains, is he willing, at least now, to present the full truth? That will depend on the availability to him of all the documentation that we have. Or, maybe he will eventually accept some negotiation with the tribunal in order to ease his own sentence. Many have done that so far.

For the Serbian people it would be ideal if the whole truth could be presented. We the Serbs, for the sake of the truth, have the obligation to respond fiercely to the lies and constructions because it is the only way for our nation to undergo a real catharsis. It is a crime to kill one man, let alone the cold-blooded murder of six people. However, such crimes are acts of ill-minded individuals who have their own first and last name. They are the ones who should be tried in a court, no doubt. In the recent civil and religious clashes in these lands there were various awful crimes perpetrated by all sides. We should not create epic poems about some of them and forget the others as if they had never happened.

In these civil, religious clashes, the Serbs have been ethnically cleansed from Slovenia, Croatia, from a part of Bosnia and from Kosovo and Metohija, but only Serbs are accused of ethnic cleansing. Others started the wars, but only we are accused regardingr the wars and the disintegration of Yugoslavia. Just take a look at the above ethnic map and you will see clearly that a Greater Croatia was created. But it is we who are accused creating a Greater Serbia. How long will those lies and falsifications continue? When will our state leadership submit to the West all those facts, which are clearly evident and easily provable? When will they say to the United States and EC that Albanians can get exactly the same degree of the autonomy that the above West gave to the Serbian people in Croatia, i.e. Krajina? I hope soon. If this cannot be done by the present leadership, then a new leadership will have to do it.
