The following photograph was
referenced in:
Time-Life books: "The SS",
Edition 1989, page 161.
The caption under the photograph
reads (quote):
Bosnian Muslims in death's-head
fezzes examine a tract on Islam and Jewry at their camp in Yugoslavia in
1943. Himmler glibly denied the Slavic heritage of these recruits, portraying
them as descendants of Goths who once overrun the region.
(End quote).
The book in the Muslim hands
has German title: "Islam und Judentum". The volunteers have swastika on
their collars.
In the same book, by chance(?)
in the page that faces it (page 160), the book shows the
Bosnian Muslim SS allies from The Hague. Some things never change.
